Hi I'm Alison

I love playing competitive sports and games. I believe that anyone can make their life great through their attitude. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love my family and friends. The best times I've had in life have been while I was with them. Some of my hobbies include skiing, playing soccer, and traveling. I loved college and going on adventures with my amazing roommates. Currently I am serving as a full-time missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Berlin, Germany. I hope to help others come closer to Christ and to help them strengthen their relationship with their Father in Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of this church because I know the doctrine is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I have prayed about them and have received an answer from God. I know that they truly are His words. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us. Because God loves us He has given us a plan to return to Him someday. And because Christ loves us, He suffered for our sins. He is the way that we can be made clean, and it is through Him that it is possible for us to return. I know that anyone can know these things to be true when they sincerely ask God.

How I live my faith

One way I try to live my faith is by remembering that God is our Heavenly Father. We are all sons and daughters of God. No matter what the world says about how one person is insignificant or can't make a difference, it's not true. Each of us is important to Heavenly Father, and He knows and loves us individually. When I remember this, I'm more kind and understanding. I become a little bit more Christlike each time I look at things through this perspective.
