Hi I'm Rachel Titensor

I believe in laughter, everything outdoors, and exploring! I love traveling and new cultures. Family is number one! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of three brothers and love going on adventures. I've loved doing a few slot canyons in southern Utah along with countless hikes and camping trips. I love exploring and traveling! I'm studying at BYU and look forward to completing my education in Family Studies with an emphasis in Human Development. My family is number one to me and connecting with them has always been a priority. This gospel has truly shaped my life for the better, without a doubt and I wouldn't give it up for the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in a Mormon family and have always been a part of this church. But regardless of my upbringing, I've made the choice to be a part of His church because I have felt for myself that this is the true church. I remember feeling so much peace on the day I was baptized, and that even though I was young, I could feel evidence of my Father in Heaven truly watching over me. I know that in my life there are people and experiences that are there for a reason. There are no coincidences. And I have had countless, sweet witnesses given to me that show me just how personally I am known by my dear Heavenly Father. I am being prepared to meet my Father in Heaven again by becoming more like Christ through trials on this earth. I follow His gospel because I can see how it makes me a better person, truly. Without it, I don't know where I would be. But I definitely wouldn't be this happy! The gospel is full of light and truth. No where else have I found so much comfort, peace, and direction in my life. This is His church. Of that I am certain.

How I live my faith

I love going to my ward every Sunday, where I am taught important church principles and where I'm shown love by many. I have played the piano for the children in my ward, and it was such an amazing experience! Those little children had such a light about them and their singing never failed to bring the spirit. I've also enjoyed teaching the 9 year olds and seeing life through their eyes. I try to take every calling and service opportunity to heart and know that when I'm doing what is right, I am being like Christ. I also strive to show all those around me the love that Christ would through action in service, smiles, or support. I'm also currently serving an LDS mission in Berlin, Germany to spread the light that had radiated in my life with those in Germany. And what a sweet opportunity it is!
