Hi I'm Audrey Aultz

I'm a missionary in New Mexico, I love my family, and most importantly I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hello! My name is Audrey Aultz and I'm a Mormon. I'm the daughter of Jason and Marianne Aultz and live in Nampa, ID. I love sports! I was a cheerleader in high school and the cheer captain when I was junior and senior. I love making new friends and love having fun outdoors. I went to a semester at BYU-I before I came out on my mission in Albuquerque, NM where I get the privilege of changing lives and making eternal friends every single day!

Why I am a Mormon

Being raised in the church has helped me to realize that I'm a daughter of God who has divine potential. I have grown up with having high standards and high morals that have kept me out of trouble. I also know that this gospel is true because the Holy Ghost has told me that it is true. With this knowledge I know that I can take on any trial and any hardship, because I know that I have God on my side.

How I live my faith

I start my week by going to church every Sunday and partaking of the sacrament! It has been such a blessing in my life because no one is perfect and when I take the sacrament with a sincere heart to want to do better my sins are washed away. Like it says in the scriptures no unclean thing can enter into the kingdom of god. Church is also where you go to feel the spirit and to be uplifted. Church to me is a hospital for the unrighteous so that they can come and be healed. I then continue to live the rest of my week to its fullest, knowing that I'm a daughter of God and with his help I can conquer every task that is laid before me.

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

Audrey Aultz
That ability to produce life is a sacred trust that God has given us. We unfortunately abuse that trust. Every life is precious and is a child of God. Who are we to say that we have the right to end that life? However there are certain situations where it's better to abort. When a mother's life is in danger and the opinion of a medical adviser is to abort... then its okay. If the mother was raped and the child will and is causing emotional trauma... then its okay. What ever the decision may be, its yours. Just know that the consequences may be devastating. So make your decision wisely. Show more Show less

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Audrey Aultz
We are all put into the different families that we have. God makes the decision on what family we go too, and who would be the best with helping us succeed in life. We know that family will always be family no matter what. Even though we can't choose our circumstances that we're in, we can choose to be happy. We can choose each day to make our families stronger and happier. "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God". Show more Show less

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

Audrey Aultz
Our biggest goal is returning to live with God again. We are able to accomplish this goal with more success when we have the companionship of the Holy Ghost at our side, leading and guiding the decisions we make. Like is says in the scriptures, the spirit can't dwell in unholy places. We are unable to feel the spirit's presence when our bodies aren't clean and wholesome. We are advised as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to take care of our bodies so we will be able to feel the presence of the Holy Ghost, and in return, return to our Father in Heaven. We have been warned by a prophet of God that harmful substances such as Tobacco, Alcohol, Coffee and Tea, and Illegal Drugs are harmful to our bodies and "dirties" them. When our bodies our "dirty" we can't feel God's love and influence and can't make the correct decisions we need to make to live with God again. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Audrey Aultz
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is found in the New Testament. It is the ultimate sacrifice Christ suffered, so that our sins may be washed away. For as we know no one is perfect and we all make mistakes. And no unclean thing can enter the kingdom of God. Jesus Christ is that median, that allows us to repent and to do better, so we can live with God again. Show more Show less
