Hi I'm Jonathan

I've lived in Utah my whole life. I love playing soccer. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I graduated from High School and am now preparing to serve a full-time mission in Chile. I love playing soccer and I take my education seriously. I love to learn, read, and play sports. I also enjoy music.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had strong parents in the gospel since day one. I have relied upon them for many of my years growing up until about 5 years ago. I began to see the blessing it is to have the truth. I began to make the right decisions like going to church, paying my tithing, doing my duties, because I knew they were what I was suppose to be doing. I gained a testimony of the prophet Joseph Smith from a young age because of the feelings I had when I read the Doctrine & Covenants & the Book Of Mormon. They changed my life. I have a testimony that Thomas S. Monson is the prophet on the earth today and he receives revelation for the church. I know Jesus Christ lived and died making it possible for me to rise from death and return to live with my Heavenly Father in His kingdom. I know that the Book of Mormom is true. I have received peace in my life countless times because of it. I have a testimony of the power of the spirit. It can comfort, bless, testify of truth, and bring things to our remembrance. I know that my Father in Heaven hears and answers our prayers and He loves each and every one of His children. I know that there is a plan. I know that it is a perfect plan and it is the only plan by which we can make it back to His presence. I know that as long as we stick to His perfect, eternal plan there is no possible way we can fail. I know Christ has atoned for my sins and every one else's, but not only that, He has born our every grief, sorrow, and infirmity so he truly knows what we are going through. Through Him we can be saved. I know this all to be true.

How I live my faith

I go to church every sunday where i am enrolled in Sunday School. It is a class where me and my peers read and learn from the scriptures. We learn the doctrines of the gospel of Jesus Chirst and strengthen each others testimonies. I am also part of the Priest's Quorum, a group of priesthood youth between the ages of 16 and 18. We do service for members in the ward. We do fun activities to help strengthen our friendships. We go on trips and learn about our responsabillities that the Lord has entrusted to us as young men holding his priesthood power in His church.
