Hi I'm Bobbie

I was born into a strong LDS family where gospel principles were taught and lived. I'm a farm girl from beautiful Star Valley Wyo.

About Me

I met and married my sweetheart while attending BYU. We are the parents of two sons and two daughters and thirteen delightful grandchildren. My family is my greatest joy. We love being together: camping, boating and 4-wheeling, playing games and singing. I play the piano and organ, and also enjoy travelling, attending the theater, quilting, sewing, baking, crocheting, going for morning walks, and reading. I love serving other people.

Why I am a Mormon

Being a member of the Mormon Church gives me a feeling of belonging. I love my family. Because of the blessings of the temple, my family can be together forever. What a choice blessing! The gospel of Jesus Christ answers my questions about life and what I must do to be worthy to live forever with my Heavenly Father. Because the gospel makes me happy and has guided my life, I want to share its teachings with others of Heavenly Father's children through missionary service. I want people of the world to have that feeling of belonging and have their families with them forever. I want people of the world to know and love the Savior, Jesus Christ as I love Him. I love being a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I feel good when I attend church. The principles taught in the Mormon church just make sense. They give purpose and direction to help me live a good life. I love the scriptures especially the Book of Mormon. They remind me to be grateful for the many blessings Heavenly Father gives to me. I have had many opportunities to serve in the LDS church. Those opportunities have helped me to improve and share my talents, while blessing the lives of other people. Often as I've served, I've felt the Lord's Spirit direct my efforts in my responsibilities. I've been given "extra-ordinary" help far above my own capabilities, and there has been no question where that help has come from. I love spending time in the temple. I love the feeling of peace and reverence I feel when I am there. I know that it is a holy place where I can feel close to my Savior, Jesus Christ.
