Hi I'm Carly

I'm an adoptee, musician, and a huge Harry Potter fan... And I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I spend the majority of my time playing the piano and singing. I just finished my freshman year of college studying vocal performance. I love to document the beauty of every day life through photography. In my free time I can usually be found reading, watching a good movie, dancing, or laughing with my friends. My family is of the utmost importance to me. I hope to make the world a better place by giving at least 10 people a reason to smile each day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have witnessed this gospel change peoples lives completely, and bring about the greatest of blessings. I have never once doubted why I am here on earth, and if my Heavenly Father loves me. I know he loves me, just as he loves every single person here on this earth. Every soul is great in the eyes of God. Even when we make mistakes and stray, he still continues to love us, and he has provided a way for us to turn around and come back home to him. That is an amazing gift. God will always provide a way for his children to come home. In this life, each of us will go through trial and experience great sorrows, but I know that because of this, and with the gospel in my life, we also have access to immense joy because our Savior, Jesus Christ suffered all pains for us, so that we will not have to go through life alone, and he will extend his love to us. The adversary and the world may attack what I believe, but with God on my side, nothing can drag me down. "If God be for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing God's love with everyone that I meet. Every one here on earth is a child of god, and he loves them infinitely. I love to share the joy and light of this gospel by sharing my musical talents with others. I do this by singing uplifting songs in assisted living centers, in church on Sundays, and every so often I will sing with a group at the homeless shelter.
