Hi I'm cathrine

Hello, i'm Cathrine Mongkeya, from Micronesia and now living in Utah. I'm married and have 6 kids.

About Me

I am a mom that loves my kids and husband. My family and i moved to Utah 4 years ago, well almost 4.We've been members of the church with our whole lives. I work night time and loves to cook and clean. My hobbies are eating, cleaning, volleyball, and play with my kids. I like to cook with my husband and give it to our relatives that are here in the state.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of my father's belief. My father was a Protestant before, but then he realized that this church is true. My father believed in the Mormon, so we all believed in it. Because of the church, it changed my father's life. The power of the church helped me and my family to be strong and to be together. I am also a member the church because i thought it would be better for my family and I. Everything i learned and heard from my dad was true and now i believe in it.

How I live my faith

I am just in relief society right now and i don't have any callings, but i still believe in everything about the church. I know that we have a prophet that is alive today, and the book of Mormon is a witness of the church. I believe that the church is true and the church helps me and my family for many things that i don't think other people would do. I believe that if we do a sin, then we need to repent. We can be with our Heavenly Father forever. One thing that i never knew , but not i know is that, if you marry an elder in the temple and seal with your family, then you guys can be together forever.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

The most important thing about the church is Baptized by immersion. It was the time that we began to know what's right and wrong. Show more Show less
