Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up in Virginia, I love serving and helping anyone and everyone. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love all sports and being active, I played volleyball all through high school and loved it! I have just finished my first year of college and had the best time. I am now preparing to leave on a mission in few months. I love just hanging out and spending time with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and as a kid, my family went to church every Sunday and I loved it. It was always what we did on Sundays. As I have gotten older, it has become more and more important to me personally. It is no longer something I just do, but something I want to do. I have found more comfort, being away from home, in the gospel and the church. Whenever I would get discouraged or felt alone I always knew I could pray or read the scriptures and it always made me feel so much better. I rely so much on the Lord and his help in my life, because I know that He loves me and always wants what is best for me. I have learned that He will answer our prayers and help to guide us in our lives. I love this gospel and it is a big part of my life. I have come to know that whatever question I have, I can turn to the Lord and He will answer my prayers. He loves each and everyone of us, no matter what. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have had many different callings in my church. Before I left for college I was the president or head of my Young Women's group where I would help to plan activities and things for all the girls to do. It was very fun to help and be involved in all the girls lives. Out at college, I was the Family History Chair where I helped to teach people how to do family history and how to index all online. It was always so much fun to help the people in my ward see their family lines and learn about where they come from. I have also loved doing Visiting teaching in my ward. It was always such a blessing to be able to help and become such great friends with the girls that I visited.
