Hi I'm Michele

I live in Las Vegas with my husband. I love acting, singing, dancing and teaching others to sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I fell in love with Musical Theater in high school and haven't stopped performing since. In college I performed with a touring group, while studying Communication Disorders- Speech Pathology and Audiology. I now teach private voice. I love baking, even though I'm not very good at it! I love being with my husband and our families.

Why I am a Mormon

From reading the Book of Mormon and Bible, living the commandments, and receiving personal revelation, I know that Jesus Christ died for us and that He was resurrected to live again. This knowledge makes me want to live like Him so that I can be like Him someday. When I live the commandments of this church, read my scriptures, pray, and serve, I feel closer to God and Jesus Christ and my life has more meaning. Through this church, I have found true happiness and purpose. I know who I am- a child of God. I know where I am going after this life- to live with God, if I live righteously now. I know that the purpose of this life is to become a better person and to have a family. These truths have given me lasting happiness that I can lean on when things are hard. I love this church, the more I put in, the more I get back.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday, I teach a class of 14/15 year old youth in our church. I also get to go to a week long camp over the summer and help the girls who are called as Youth Camp Leaders. I love this camp because its a wonderful time to help the girls realize how worth while they are and we have so much fun! I am a visiting teacher. Another woman and I are assigned to visit 4 women each month. Listening to their blessings and challenges helps me remember what really matters and it helps me think about something other than myself and my problems. Its a huge blessing to have wonderful women to talk to and learn from. I always know they are there for me.
