Hi I'm Chyenne

I'll never quench my thirst for knowledge and life experience, and I strive to live authentically and righteously, I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student, born in Colorado, I enjoy spending time with people I love, thinking about the future, doing yoga, long bike rides, spending time with nature. I also enjoy some "old lady" hobbies, I crochet, attempt baking, and read books...made from paper. I enjoy a good debate now and again and have a love for psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because everything that is asked of me, comes with a reason. I do not worry I am being mislead by my leaders because I have a prophet of god to look up to. My gospel has been filtered to its truest form, to Heavenly Father's true words. No scripture can be misinterpreted. I am surrounded by wonderful people everyday. My church is The Church of Jesus Christ and I am glad I have his footsteps to follow in.

How I live my faith

I became a convert at the age of 18 and my life has changed drastically for the better. My mind set is so much more positive, I do not fear tough life circumstances as I once did. I know I can trust in my Heavenly Father to give me the life I need to live. Keeping that trust is hard at times of course, but life is easier if I have it with me. I volunteer to teach a class of four year olds the gospel, and they teach me more than I will ever teach them every day. The more I pray, read scripture, and serve others the better I feel, and I am happy that my gospel is so simple to where I do so little but receive so much.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

Chyenne
We don't. Decisions like this have been made by people who were members of the church but it is important to remember that it is Jesus's church not the people's church, and Jesus did not practice polygamy :) Show more Show less
