Hi I'm Judy Rose

I am a happy wife, mother of four, and grandmother of eight! I travel a lot to be with our children and grandchildren.

About Me

I travel a lot to visit our children that are spread across the country. I love warm weather and the beach! For the past 7 years I have consistently walked 5-6 miles a day about 5 times a week or when I get the opportunity, I like to hike Mount Timpanogos with my husband! I love boating on the lake in Minnesota with our family!

Why I am a Mormon

As a young teenage girl I attended church on my own. As I look back, I wonder why? Somehow I knew that the Savior loved me. My leaders loved and cared for me! Now that I am 55 years old, I am SO GRATEFUL that I have had the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life all of these years!! It has made me a better person in every way!! I realize the importance of an eternal family and how we can be together forever! This life here on earth is a short part of our existence but oh so important that we serve and obey The Lord so we can return to live with him someday!! I know that our Savior lives and that He knows and loves each and everyone of us! I LOVE being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving others! I feel especially close to the younger women and taught them for about 25 years!! I love teaching them that they are a daughter of God and to help them realize how special they are in their own uniqueness! I love the sisterhood that I feel in church! I have so many deep and lasting friendships from everywhere we have lived from serving in the church together! Wherever we go to church in our travels we feel welcomed.

What is the Relief Society?

Judy Rose
The Relief Society is the most wonderful women's organization to belong to. We are a sisterhood of women who love and care for one another. We have a program called Visiting Teaching where two women go visit specific sisters every month and look after them. For example, if one of the visited sisters is having a baby or a tough time in her life, her Visiting Teachers are to be the first sisters there to help her. What a comfort!! One of the awesome things that happens during Visiting Teaching is that all of the sisters involved find a new found love and appreciation for one another when they may have not had the opportunity otherwise! The life and ministry of Jesus Christ is at the center of a lesson that they teach at each monthly visit. So wonderful!!! Show more Show less
