Hi I'm Zach Rosenstein

Hello! My name is Zach Rosenstein. I love nature, my family, motorcycles, shoes, and vegetable juicing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a missionary assigned to the Korea Seoul South Mission! Currently I'm in training at the Missionary Training Center and learning Korean! I leave July 21st to Seoul and can't wait to be able to bring the gospel that has forever changed the course of my life to the people of Korea. Before I became a missionary I was a student at the University of Utah and thoroughly enjoyed my studies as an English major. I chose to be an English major because I enjoy the stories, poems, and morals that we discuss in depth in class. I feel like I am not only working towards a career, but being educated in a way that helps me become a better student, citizen, and human being! Some of my hobbies include: dirtbiking, playing the piano, trying new restaurants, museums, camping, poetry, motorcycles, going to the symphony, hiking, art galleries, finding new music, and pretty much anything mildly interesting!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of Jesus Christ's atonement for me. I have done things in my life that I have needed to repent for and have felt his love, guidance, and forgiveness in a way that changed me forever. When I read The Book of Mormon I knew it was true because I felt it in my heart, and recognized that everything it said brought me closer to Jesus Christ. Through further studying and prayer I came to know that Joseph Smith was a great prophet just like Moses of the Bible and that God was still working miracles on the earth. I am so grateful for this gospel in my life. Since I joined the church and chose to follow Christ's example for me I have become happier in every way. I have grown closer to my family and hear all of the time from them and friends that I have become a better person through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Before I entered the mission field I was a class instructor in my ward. I really enjoyed the experience and came to love everybody in my class. I look forward to church every Sunday because I can feel myself growing closer to my Heavenly Father, my family, and all the friends I have made at our church. Now I am loving every second of being a missionary! The Missionary Training Center is an amazing place where every day is full of Heavenly Fathers help and blessings. I am excited to be able to serve the Lord for two years and to share a message that has made all the difference in my own life. I have had to sacrifice some things to be able to go, for instance before I left, I told one of my professors that I was serving a full-time mission for the next to years and she said, "You're leaving your college career now?!" I could only laugh and tell her that it would be worth every second. Giving up two years seems like very little compared to all that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have done for me.
