Hi I'm Tyler Teerlink

I live in Draper, Utah. I'm the lead singer of my band "Blue Wavers". I love music. I'm a skater. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I play in a band. We are called "Blue Wavers." Music is my passion. I love writing songs, playing shows, and jamming with my buddies. We have a good time. The majority of my childhood was spent at the skate park. I love skateboarding. I love snowboarding. My family is great. I'm the youngest of six kids so my parents are kind of old, but their awesome. I love them. I'm a janitor; not the most exciting job in the world but it puts gas in the car. I'm a senior in high-school, excited to be graduating in a few months. I have a mission call, shortly after I graduate I'm headed off to Mexico City. Leaving my family and my band is going to be a sacrifice. But it will be worth it. I love my Heavenly Father, and I'm excited to serve my brothers and sisters in Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the church is true. I have read The Book of Mormon and I know that it is the word of God. The church of Jesus Christ has been restored! It is through His gospel that we can find peace and eventually return to live with God. I have found more joy through the gospel of Jesus Christ and in being obedient to His commandments than by any other means. I have felt the power of His atonement change my life as I have repented of my sins, and have worked at overcoming my weaknesses. We are all children of God, and he knows and loves each and everyone of us. He wants us to be happy, and it is through his gospel that we can be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving those around me. I make a strong effort to follow the savior's teachings and love one another. Everyone needs a friend, and I am happy to be that friend. I find that I am happiest when my efforts are spent trying to help others be happy, and not worrying about myself.
