Hi I'm Beth

I love babies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

When I was young and someone asked what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answer was always "A mom". And that is what I became! After 20 years of marriage, I looked around the dinner table one night and noticed that there were a lot of people there! It took me a minute to realize what had happened. I always just wanted another baby but suddenly there were 7 people depending on me. It was a powerful moment as I thought about how I would always worry about them, then I would worry about their spouses, then I would worry about their children! And that is just what has happened. But besides worrying about them I enjoy them very much. My family is full of my very favorite people. And now my children are giving me GRAND BABIES!!!!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I can't imagine life any other way. My parents were introduced to the church by some dear friends during WWII. I am very grateful that they accepted the invitation to read the Book of Mormon and act on what they learned. When I am living according to the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ life is just so good. Some of my children have invited friends to our home to learn from the missionaries. It is exciting to watch people as they feel the Holy Ghost influence them. Joy for them and joy for us!

How I live my faith

Right now I have the privilege of teaching 5 and 6 year old children at church. It is great to watch them learn about the love Heavenly Father has for each of them. I think they grasp it easily because they left Him such a short time ago. I have also spent time working with the 12 to 18 year old young women and that is especially fun. My husband and I are preparing to serve a mission. We will be going to the Pacific Islands in the fall to help people learn to use technology that they might not be familiar with yet.
