Hi I'm Maggie Green

I've lived in Utah my entire life, living the gospel day by day. I crochet, draw, and love Doctor Who. I AM a Mormon.

About Me

I've lived in Utah my entire life and I love it here with all my heart. I've been influenced by the gospel every single day. I always cherish the spiritual experiences that I have with my young women's, and just with myself. I love to crochet little animals, and I absolutely love to draw. I love Doctor Who, and Sherlock with a passion, and I can scarf down Red Velvet Cupcakes like no tomorrow!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I know that this church is true. An experience that I had really confirmed that. I was laying in bed one night, and I felt overwhelming grief come over me for no reason at all. I couldn't shake the feeling and I didn't know where it was coming from. I sat up and said, "If this is Satan, In the name of our savior Jesus Christ, I cast thee out of my spirit and body." And just like that, the feeling was gone. I know that Jesus Christ was there for me. Without a shadow of a doubt, I know this church is true, and the savior died for us on the cross and He is watching us and trying to help us stay on the path to righteousness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a daily basis just by helping those around me. Missionary work doesn't mean knocking on doors and begging people to come to church with you. It means, be a friend to those around you. Some people are put off by the fact that we pressure people into doing things we want them to do. Just being a friend to people can show that we are just ordinary people who want and need friends too. I help a lot in the Young Womens by helping other Young Women in countries where they don't get all the things that we have in the United States.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Maggie Green
A Testimony is the knowledge that our Heavenly Father Loves us, and he lives. That Jesus is the son of God, and he was the only person that could carry out the Atonement. It's the knowledge that the church that God created, and Joseph Smith restored, is true. Show more Show less
