Hi I'm Michael

I grew up in Wyoming. I work as a computer systems admin. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up most of my life in Casper, WY. Graduated with a degree in Computer Information Technology from Brigham Young University - Idaho. Love building and creating things. Like paint balling, cycling, walking and playing games. Father of 2 active boys. Served a 2 year mission to Fukuoka, Japan

Why I am a Mormon

I came into the church through birth. Both of my parents are members of the church and took me and my siblings to church every week. The principles of the gospel were taught in parents home (faith, repentance, baptism and living a righteous life). In High School and Junior High I had many opportunities to think about why I belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. One late night after reading in the Book of Mormon I prayed to know if what it said was true. I prayed for comfort and guidance in my life that there really was purpose in going to church every sunday. For several minutes after I finished praying I sat listening for an answer and silently waiting. A thought entered my mind, "you already know these things are true". Another thought entered saying "I know who you are and you are loved". I know that God lives. That he is our heavenly father and that he sent his son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins. I know that through the prophet Joseph Smith, the restoration of the gospel has begun in these latter days. I know that the word of God found in the Bible and Book of Mormon will teach us how we can live righteously so that we can return to live with God again.

How I live my faith

I help setup wireless access points in the different church buildings where I live. I help church members use technology in their classes and meetings.
