Hi I'm James

I'm an Idaho farmboy and a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a family of ranchers, and lived my early years going to a school with 20 kids total in grades K-6. While never having the opportunity to meet new people, it made for an awesome childhood. I will be serving an LDS mission in the Louisiana Baton Rouge mission. Having lived my entire life in the land of potatoes, this promises to be both an exciting and unfamiliar experience. However, with help from the Lord it promises to be the greatest of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of Mormons, but that is not why I chose to be a Mormon. I was blessed with this opportunity, but faith always becomes a matter of personal choice eventually. A testimony of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day allowed me to see the blessings of being a Mormon not only in name, but by the way I live.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in my everyday actions. I am actively involved in helping others through service to those in my community and area. My faith has greatly influenced me to take advantage of simple service opportunities in everyday life. My faith has also allowed me to keep my life morally clean. I have found that rather than being restrictive to what I can and can't do, my faith has opened opportunities that are only available through adherence to God's plan for each one of us.
