Hi I'm Sandee

I grew up in the United States. Im proud to say I come from a long line of (Latter Day Saints). I'm a "Mormon".

About Me

I enjoy being a Wife and Mother. My husband and I both work outside the home; we take pride in seeing our children further their education. As a Sub-Contractor, I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. I enjoy gardening, being close to nature, reading and writing poetry in my spare time.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I have been a member of the Church all of my life, I have seen many great examples. Although I have actively attended Church on a weekly basis, there came a time of questioning. During this time of soul searching, I took to my knees and to the Scriptures, both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I attended other Churches and asked questions. I didn't want to just be going through the motions, I wanted to know I was on the right path. Through my study and prayer, I have come to have a greater faith and belief in my Savior Jesus Christ. I know that He lives. I know that he is our personal Savior. He has been there for me in times of trial. We pray together as a Family. I feal a peace in my life and I feel greatful to follow leaders who are constant and undeviating in their example and direction. I look forward to having an Eternal Family and I am proud to say that " I am a Mormon."

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I have enjoyed serving in the different organizations of the Church. Some of my favorite opportunities were to work with Nursery age children- 15 months to 3 years old. Teaching them lessons and songs about Jesus, (that they are His children). They are so precious. I am currently serving as a leader in the Womans Organization. We have some outstanding Women, they love and serve one another, taking meals to the sick. Helping with literacy, reaching out to the Widows, helping those with special needs. So many of the Women are an inspiration to me.

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

One of the greatest witnesses to me that there is a God, was holding in my arms each of our children after they were born. I could feel the power of the Creation that was bigger than me and my Husband. A miricle as the first breath was taken and the first cry. Seeing how intricut and organized each part of that little body functioned. The spirit of each child, more than just a body, a portion of the Spirit of God, is a testimony to me that God lives. Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Joseph Smith is revered as an outstanding individual because of his great Faith and stalwart obedience. He not only had these great traits, but was willing to be persecuted, suffering trials that most of us would retreat to. Loosing children, imprisoned, being tarred and feathered, held at gun point in front of family members, all because he would not deny his beliefs. We don't worship him, we respect him and mostly because of our own weeknesses. He lived great and died great. He stayed true to the end. He was very much like the Savior. Because he chose to follow the Savior. We choose to follow Joseph Smiths' example to follow the Savior. Show more Show less
