Hi I'm Braden Pape

I've grown up in several places from Arizona to Connecticut to France to Colorado. I want to be a chemical engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to play sports, like football, wrestling, and rugby.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of this church since birth, so it is all I've ever known. I was lucky to have great parents that were strong in the church and always brought me to go to church as well. I learned the principles of the church and the importance of why we must live them. For a while I was just following directions from my parents but gained a testimony of my own of the gospel. From attending meetings, studying my scriptures, and praying, I gained knowledge of the gospel independent of my parents and know it is true. Now it is my choice and I will always try to live as closely as I can to how Christ did and how he wants me to live.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by applying basic church principles to my life. I try to be kind and understanding to everyone I interact with throughout my day. This includes my friends, my family, church members, and my coworkers. Christ set a perfect example to us of how to treat other people with love, and I strive to emulate that in myself. In addition to general daily interactions, I show my faith by attending weekly meetings. I go every week to church which consists of three hours of meetings. I also read my scriptures daily and pray because I have faith that I will be blessed for my efforts.
