Hi I'm Rich

I'm a true blue Aggie, scratch golfer, wandering mountain man and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love life because there is pine trees on the mountain and fish in the river! The outdoors are my passion and is one of the biggest evidences of God's greatness and love for me. I play a lot of golf in the summer time and I once shot a course record 59. I play guitar and sometimes get crafty. Snowboarding helps me endure winter. You can usually spot me walking away from the crowd in a snapback.

Why I am a Mormon

I live by the motto, "be the man you want to become". The restored church of Jesus Christ helps me live His gospel because its foundation is service to others. Life has very little meaning for me without the hope of having an eternal family. I'm glad that I belong to a church that believes you can be sealed to those you love and cherish forever. I'm a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ is my steady rock in the changing world I live in today. The Lord is letting me learn to choose His way when almost everyone is fading deaf to His voice and cold to His love. I'm a Mormon because I have found the few that have the same goals as me. We are swimming upstream and the current is growing stronger. But so are we!

How I live my faith

I grew up in Northern Utah and went to church, but I gained my testimony in the South. I served as a full time missionary in the West Virginia Charleston Mission and met people that taught me what real faith is. The Lord has helped me to see that serving His children is the easiest way to know Him better. The more selfless I choose to be, the more I feel God's love for me and others.
