Hi I'm Joshua Galaviz

A swimmer, a brother, a son, a missionary, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a missionary for the church in the Great Tennessee Knoxville Mission, currently serving in a branch. I love doing "HIS WORK... HIS WAY... BY HIS POWER..." :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that without the added witness that I have received from the Book of Mormon pertaining to the KJV Bible, I'd be confused. It testifies of Christ and of the things that were to take place when Christ atoned for our sins. I also value the word of God and believe that He speaks through a modern day prophet the things which we need at this time to face all the things that the adversary is to throw at us in this generation. I love the Lord and I'll serve til' He stops me.

How I live my faith

I apply what I learn and I strive to live it to the best of my ability! The scriptures apply to everyone of us today and I am a living breathing walking witness of it! I try and share my love for the gospel with those I come into contact every day!

What is faith?

Joshua Galaviz
Alma Chapter 32:21 says; "And now as I said concerning faith-- Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ta have faith ye hope for things which are not seen which are true." That sums it up right there in that verse, The Holy Spirit will testify to you (through emotions of peace, comfort, etc.) and through those feelings he testifies to us of the truth of the things we need to build our faith in the Lord. Faith is knowing in your heart that there is a God and Jesus Christ is His son, and through that faith, you CAN know the truth of all things. Show more Show less
