Hi I'm Tyson

I love sports, music, rice, beans, and tortillas, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in Idaho. Lots of cold and wind but the fishin is great. I enjoy sports, especially basketball and football. I like hiking and camping and all that good stuff. I am currently serving a mission in Houston Texas speaking spanish. I think it is crazy interesting to get to know new people and their situations, and i love seeing how the gospel changes their lives. I enjoy quiet moments where i am able to think and organize my thoughts. When i finish my mission I will be going to BYU- Idaho.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but my true conversion was not all at once. I gradually was able to attain my own testimony through prayer study and exercising the faith i had. Everything in the gospel makes sense to me and helps me realize my purpose on this earth and the potential that i have as a son of our Father in Heaven. I love the gospel and i believe one of the most powerful teachings is that we can be together as families forever according to how we live our lives. I love this life i have been blessed with and the opportunity i have to share it with other people. I know and I can promise that you can attain the happiness you search for in life by living the teachings of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He wont take your trails and hard times away, but he will give you the strength to endure.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by emulating the life of the savior in all i do. Im not perfect but i realize all we are asked of is to do are best to develope the characteristics of Jesus Christ in our lives.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families are awesome! We are all part of an eternal family, with God as our father. Above all other names we could have known Him by, he wanted to be known as the Father. He sent us to earth to receive physical bodies, and to be tested in this life, and we know that many of the trials we face are difficult and hard to overcome. That is why he sent us families, to watch over and support us in those difficult moments in life. I love my family with all my heart, and God has given us the hope and opportunity to live with them all again someday! Everything we do is centered on eternal families, because it is a remarkable gift from our Father who loves us. Show more Show less
