Hi I'm Marie Ward

I studied oil painting at Snow College. I'm taking a break from school to serve a LDS mission in Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the seventh of eight children in my family, as well as aunt to 11 nieces and nephews. Having a big family is a lot of fun, and it's definitely helped to shape who I am today. I just finished two years of college, and I'm really excited to continue my education. Right now I work at a custom framing shop but in the long run I want to be a graphic designer, and a professional oil paint artist. Painting has always been my passion!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up a member of this church has blessed my life big time. I love this gospel! I love the hope it gives to each of us, and the comfort of knowing there is more to life than living and dying. I love the promise it gives to live with our families for eternity and the gift of the atonement to clean me from sin, and learn to better myself. I grew up with built in friends in my church community, and so much love and support from adult leaders and teachers. I was taught righteous values at an early age and guided through life's early challenges by people who cared for me personally. I just want to share those blessings with everyone!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings every Sunday as well as ward activities throughout the week when I'm available. I have a calling in my ward to be on the "Linger Longer Committee" which basically means I help make food and treats to share so people have the opportunity to mingle and chat after church services on Sundays. I'm also preparing to serve a mission for my church, to share our faith with the people in Monterrey Mexico. My mission will be 18 months, working full time to share the gospel and it's blessings with anyone who are interested! I'll be sad to leave my family, but I want to let others know how they can be with their own families for eternity!
