Hi I'm Jon

I was born in Orem Utah. I am going on a mission. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a senior in high school. I play lacrosse, ping pong and badminton. I love to play in the sun with my friends and family. I love reading books I am always reading if I am not playing. I have been admitted to Brigham Young University and can't wait to continue my studies. I am currently planning on majoring in Physics or Math.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, otherwise known as Mormons because of the testimony that I have of Jesus Christ. I have a strong witness of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I know that by following the commandments of God then I can experience true joy. I know that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I can be saved. My testimony of this gospel means everything to me. I would not trade it nor betray it for anything.

How I live my faith

I home teach three different families in my ward/neighborhood. My father is my companion and I love it. I love the people that I get to visit every month and I love their trust in me to help them when they are in need.

Where did Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints begin?

Jon
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints began with a 14 year old boy named Joseph Smith. He asked God a very simple question. Which church is true. At some point in time most people in the world also ask this question. God answered Joseph and from there the Restoration of the Church began. We to can receive answers from God if we ask Him.
