Hi I'm Jeremy

From White Rock BC, I'm half Chinese, I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in good old White Rock British Columbia. The land of big blue skies and breaking dawns. My biggest dream is for one day to actually be successful at something! I appreciate all that God has given me, especially my family.

Why I am a Mormon

For as long as I can remember (aka my whole life) I was raised in the "mormon" faith. My parents took me to church every Sunday since before I was born and they continued that for as long as I lived with them. I'll be honest. Although I never "hated" going to church, being the rebellious teenager I was I never felt like the church was right for me. It wasn't until I moved out to go to university, stopped attending church, and started straying away from the standards that I was raised in that I slowly began to realize what I had all along. In His own little way God got His hands around me and made me realize I needed to find the truth for myself. The answers didn't come right off the bat or all at once but they came. And I can promise that the same can happen to everyone else. Slowly I began to come to my senses get my life priorities in order and I am now spending the next 2 years of my life dedicated to the cause I've discovered. Although I don't quite have a perfect knowledge of the truth I do know that what I am currently doing is the absolute right thing to do. I know that God answers prayers, sometimes even with a "No" but he loves us enough to give us the answer we need right now. I know that God speaks to prophets (imagine Moses, but more clean shaven and with a suit and tie) once again and that we can find the truth for ourselves through prayer and study of the scriptures. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, I have gained a stronger testimony of Jesus Christ from the Book of Mormon than from any other book with the Bible being a very close second. Live life and love life! "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift, that is why we call it the present.” - Master Oogway

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a full time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in the Canada Winnipeg mission. For those of you who have absolutely no idea what that is I pretty much go around sharing what makes me the most happy, the gospel of Jesus Christ. I do my best to invite others to come unto Christ through his restored gospel on the earth today.
