Hi I'm Hannah Rowley

I attend BYU. I enjoy music and working with specials needs people. I love to laugh and to make people laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love new! New people, new places, new ideas, new jokes. Anything creative, wholesome, and out-of-the-box! However, I also love restored. Restored friendships, restored places, restored truths, and even restored jokes...but I still haven't been able to quite figure out why the chicken crossed the road. ;) I find joy in exploration and study but also love to take time for the simple and small things of life. Some of my greatest joys in life have come from music, working with special needs people, and spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and always felt as though everything in it just made sense to me. Life was good and the principles I was being taught always seemed to work. However, there came a point in my life when I still knew that the church was true but I felt that I was lacking the strength and faith that I had always had. My desires to recognize God in my life were weakened and I felt as though I was just "going through the motions". As I began to reflect on previous times when I had felt God's love, I realized that I was missing something. While reading in Proverbs, I found that my mistake was that I was not "trusting in the Lord with all [my] heart." When I realized this, my prayers became more sincere, my scripture study became more meaningful and my relationship with my Heavenly Father was strengthened. I now know that it is essential to trust in God and to continually exercise my faith in him. When we do this, we will recognize his hand in our lives and we will be strengthened as we consistently strive to improve ourselves through the healing power of the Atonement.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by praying, reading my scriptures, and striving to make better my imperfections. My faith has also been tested and strengthened through the many opportunities I have had to lead, organize, and play the music in our weekly church meetings. Music has allowed me express myself and my faith. Finally, my faith has grown as I have been able to work with other church leaders to serve and teach other members of our congregation. Serving them has allowed me to realize the daily miracles that our Heavenly Father provides us with.
