Hi I'm Paisha

I grew up in Cedar City. I love to write and draw. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an English major, and recently finished my third year of college. I am putting my fourth year on hold in order to serve a mission. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, writing, drawing, and most crafts.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not always a Mormon. I was raised to be non-denominational Christian, but partway through high school, I lost my faith in God and Christ. I struggled for the next five years, going back and forth between an Agnostic and an Atheist point of view. Through the help and encouragement of friends, I decided to investigate the LDS church. The first time I attended church, I felt the presence of the Holy Ghost and knew that I would be baptized. I contacted the Sister Missionaries, started taking lessons, began reading the Book of Mormon, and joined the church shortly after. The difference that the gospel and Christ's influence has made on my life is huge. I have been happier and more at peace with my life since joining the church. I am preparing to serve a mission to help others learn about and come unto Christ. It is my hope that I will help others find the same happiness that I found.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending each of the church meetings held on Sunday. I have made a habit of praying and reading scriptures daily, which strengthens me throughout the day. Each month, a friend and I go visiting teaching in order to share a gospel message with other women from the ward.
