Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Utah. I love to travel and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I just finished my first year of school at Snow College where I studied music with an emphasis in vocal performance. In high school I played volleyball, sang with the choir, threw javelin on the varsity track team, volunteered in the lunchroom, where my mom was a lunch lady, and became a Certified Pharmacy Technician. I am the oldest of four girls, and my sisters are perhaps the most beautiful girls in the world both inside and out. My dad is in the army, so yes we are army brats and have done our fare share of moving. I love to travel and read. Two of my favorite things to do are eating chocolate and quoting movies.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of this church, but that is not why I am a member. I continue to be a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that it is the one and only true church of God. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ really did appear to the prophet Joseph Smith and that it was through him that the church was restored. The book of Mormon is the word of God, and Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet in this day and it is through him that the Lord leads his church in our day. I love this gospel and there is not a doubt in my mind that it is true, there is no way it could not be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my best to be an example of the believers. When I was in high school I had the opportunity to help plan, and lead three multi-ward youth camps for the church. Now I have decided to go serve a mission, so that I can bring other people to the gospel and they can feel the joy that only it can bring and the love that our Heavenly Father has for them individually.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Megan
We believe that families can be together forever. When a man and a woman are married in the temple they are sealed together for both time and all eternity along with their children. In most weddings you hear the phrase "till death do us part" well death does not do you part when you are sealed together in the temple of our God. When either you or your spouse dies you will be together again and together enjoy the blessings of eternal life with our father in Heaven. Show more Show less
