Hi I'm Adam

I have been raised in Idaho my whole life. I enjoy swimming and playing the trombone. I know the Savior loves us. I'm a mormon

About Me

When I was young, I played soccer, baseball, and took swimming lessons. As I grew, I decided to stick with swimming and joined the swim team. I have been swimming competitively since I was ten. I also joined the band in the 6th grade. I played trombone in marching bands, symphonic bands, and jazz bands until my junior year. I also earned my eagle scout when I was fourteen. I am also an older brother to two little sisters and a little brother. We may not always get along, but we do love each other.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was first baptized it was mainly because my whole family is active in the church. I grew up with the Book of Mormon and the Bible in my hands. Then as I got older, I got down on my knees and asked my Father in Heaven if this church is true. I asked if the Book of Mormon is true, I asked if Joseph Smith was a true prophet, I asked if the Savior did preform the Atonement for all mankind. I received and answer to every question, and it was, and still is, yes. That is why I do all that I do. I know that our Father hears and answers prayers. I know He loves all of His children, and I know that He has given me every blessing that I have. I obey His word and serve Him because I want to show Him how grateful I am for all that He has done for me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by every action of my day. I strive to do what the Savior would do if He were in my situation. I know I'm not perfect at this but I do try to be His disciple and witness wherever I go. I do all that I can to attend my church meetings, complete assignments given to me by the church, and studying the scriptures daily. I live my faith by striving every day to keep my thoughts, words, actions, and body clean. I live my faith by giving out simple acts of kindness in my day, being nice to people, and I live my faith when I have hope, trust, and confidence in the Savior. When I do these things I can feel my Saviors live for me and the power of the Holy Ghost.

Who are the Mormons?

Mormons are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The nickname 'Mormon' comes from our belief in The Book of Mormon which is another witness of Jesus Christ like the Bible. The Book of Mormon is a record about the ancient inhabitants of the Americas. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. We believe that our Father in Heaven has revealed His will to living prophets today just like He did to ancient prophets in The Bible and The Book of Mormon. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

We believe that The Bible is the word of God. Just because we have The Book of Mormon doesn't mean that we do not believe in The Bible. We believe that they both stand as witnesses of Christ. We truly love both books. The reason why we have both is because we believe that all of God's words to his servants the prophets are scripture. We believe that all things should be declared by two or three witnesses as it outlines in the law of Moses that the Israelites followed in The Bible which said that a judge must have two or three witnesses before he could condemn a man for a crime (Deuteronomy 17:6). We also believe that the The Book of Mormon was prophesied in The Bible. In Ezekiel 37:16,17 It is prophesied that the stick of Judah (The Bible) and the stick of Ephraim (The Book of Mormon) will be joined one two another. We believe that these two great books help us come to a greater understanding of our Father in Heaven and the doctrine of the Gosple of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
