Hi I'm Kyle

Born in Utah, Serving in Germany

About Me

I'm a chill guy and I think variety is the spice of life. I especially like listening to music, taking photos, and seeing what's out there in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have always been active, so I kind of assumed it was true, but sometimes I had my doubts. See, whenever someone said something like "oh, I feel the Spirit so strongly right now", well, I didn't. I had no idea what that felt like, and that troubled me. The problem is, you can't have a testimony without the Spirit. All of the things I've learned throughout my life and all the trust I had in my parents were not enough. I, just like everyone, needed the Holy Ghost to confirm the truth to my heart. And that hadn't happened yet, at least as far as my dense self could tell. By the time I was of the age to go on a mission, I realized that it was now or never. I needed to know, and fast. And so, I prayed. I prayed long and hard, begging God to let me know. I knew that I had been lazy and terribly unworthy for so long and it was unfair of me to ask him now, at the last second, after all these years of opportunity. After a time, Heavenly Father showed me His mercy and His love. I felt a bonfire in my heart. It was a new sensation that I couldn't mistake, ignore, or dismiss. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church of God.

How I live my faith

I'm currently in Germany, serving a mission for the Lord. I'm so thankful for the happiness, self-improvement, and knowledge the gospel has brought into my life, and I want to help others to have those same things.
