Hi I'm Mallory

I am a daughter, sister, and friend. I grew up in Utah. I am energetic, fun loving and constantly on the move. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outdoors, camping, horseback riding, dancing, cooking and finding any new adventure to go on. I have graduated from College and now work full time. I love living life to the fullest and have a very positive attitude toward what happens in my life. I love traveling around the world and experiencing new cultures and expanding my knowledge of life outside of the USA.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but I have my own conversion story, as most members do. I officially chose to be a Mormon about 2 years ago. I had chosen to take a "wrong turn" in my life and thought I could live without all of the things that the church teaches. After about 3 months of non-stop tears, incredible amounts of stress, and always feeling so down, I finally turned back to my Heavenly Father. I asked for His help to get me out of the situation that I had "stuck" myself with. Through many inspired thoughts, friends, and my family, I knew that I needed the Lord in my life. I needed Him as a continual companion. I felt my Heavenly Father and Savior's love for me so intensely, that I cannot deny that they both love me and know me individually. I know that the Savior helped carry me through my trial and stood next to me, even when I wouldn't recognize that He was there. I know that the Lord is standing with all of us 100%. We just need to remind ourselves that He is there. He will never forsake us. I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that my Savior, Jesus Christ, atoned for my sins, along with everyone else's. I am so grateful to know that I have a solid testimony and foundation that I can teach my children to be happy. The gospel of Jesus Christ has only ever brought me happiness, and I have found that out the hard way. I am grateful to know that my family will be together, not only in this life, but throughout all of eternity and that I can live with my loving Heavenly Father again. I know that the temple is the house of God and that the promises and covenants that we make with our Father are eternal and meant to keep us safe and happy. I know that Satan is real and that he tempts us at every turn he can. I know that God is always there to help give us that added measure of strength that is needed to defeat the power of Satan. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life and I know that it is the only way to pure happiness.

How I live my faith

I am involved in community service projects around the state of Utah. I, also, am always looking for opportunities to serve those in my community that just need a little extra boost. I have the opportunity in my ward to schedule trips to the temple. It is a rewarding experience to watch the members of my ward serve their ancestors in the temple.
