Hi I'm Nicholas

I'm a second generation American. I'm preparing to leave my family to live in Philadelphia where I will serve God. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a small town high school student. I love soccer and running, and I love to sing. I am currently preparing to serve a mission in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I have an amazing family and amazing friends. I am always excited for each new chapter in my life, and anxious to work towards my goals! I love the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church my whole life. I was born into the knowledge because of great parents. But I have also come to learn for myself that this church is true through a study of the teachings of this church. I know that there is a Heavenly Father watching over us who loves us. He is always ready to support us, and He has never let me down. Over my somewhat short lifespan I have found words to live by: "God gives us three answers when we pray-yes, not now, or I have something better planned." Because He loves us He has set forth a plan for each of us to follow, and I have come to understand and I still try to understand that as I follow the path that He who loves me infinitely has set for me, I am made stronger and better. I continue to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ because I know that Jesus would never lead me astray. He suffered and died for the sins of the world, which most definitely include mine, and for that I owe Him everything I have to offer. I have made the decision to devote my life to him in hopes that I might please my redeemer and enable the saving grace that He so willfully died to give me.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I am always striving to be the best that I can be. I am the oldest kid in my ward and I have been called to assist my bishop in guiding the rest of the boys my age. I am also responsible for blessing our sacrament bread and water; this is very important to our religion because it represents the body and blood of the savior Jesus Christ. Some other responsibilities I hold are to watch over the members of the ward, and provide service whenever I am able to whoever needs it. I help the other boys in my ward find service projects and activities to do together every Wednesday. I have learned that as I dedicate myself to becoming like Christ I find more opportunities to serve others, and I am also a lot happier.
