Hi I'm Kay Lynn

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am the oldest of 9 children and I have 10 children of my own. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, a mom, and a grandmother of 43 grandchildren. I am also the oldest sister to 8 siblings. I like to read, sew, garden and cook.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an active Mormon family. I have been surrounded by faithful Mormon relatives and friends my whole life. I know that the gospel has been restored to the earth. The gospel is my life. I know it is true. As I have served my Heavenly Father in church callings, my faith has grown. I know the Savior is my Redeemer. I am grateful for what he has done for me. When I serve Him in my ward or stake and on missions, it is my way of saying, "thank you" for all that he has blessed me with. I also know that we are led by a prophet of God. It gives me great comfort to know that God still speaks to prophets today and that we can rely on their messages.

How I live my faith

I have always been actively involved with my ward and stake. Before my husband and I served our first mission to Hawaii, we were in charge of a youth conference for all of the youth in our stake. We centered our conference around the Book of Mormon. After our return from Hawaii, I was asked to teach the 9 and 10 year olds in our ward. I also work in the Temple and visit three sisters in my ward on a monthly basis. My husband and I will leave for another mission at the end of June.
