Hi I'm Natalie

I am a reader. I am a sister. I am a missionary. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a twin brother and four other amazing siblings. I love to read, sing, play piano and study different languages. I love math. I am currently attending college. I am studying Linguistics. I am preparing to serve a mission. My family is the most important part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel has given me so many answers and comfort that I could be nothing else. I lost my grandfather at a very young age and, with my parents divorced and us having lived with him periodically over the ten years of my life, he was more like a father to me. When he died so abruptly I became inconsolable and irritable. I went to a Temple Open House and all of a sudden I felt love and an all encompassing warmth. And then I felt the arms of my Papa wrap themselves around me and I knew that my family would always be together. How could I not be Mormon after that?

How I live my faith

My very first calling was to play piano for the Primary children (ages 4-11). Its amazing how such a small thing can brighten up their faces. It didn't feel like service sometimes but it eventually felt like it was for them and not for me. It didn't have to be perfect because they didn't care or judge. I serve by letting people know I can be there for them whenever they have the need. The choir director for our ward will usually ask me to sing with the choir if he is short people and because I love it I could never say no.
