Hi I'm Caleb

I grew up in Utah County. I've served at an orphanage in Haiti. I've been called to serve in Colombia next. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from high school. I've been called to serve in the Colombia Barranquilla Mission, I report to the mission field on August 13, 2014. I enjoy spending time with family, friends and new people. I love to hear, tell, and record stories. I love playing and watching any sports. I'm always up for some friendly competition of badminton, bowling, tennis, and basketball. Rollerskating on saturday nights is one of my favorite pastimes. Get outdoors! I love smelling crisp air and hiking is always a beautiful adventure; seeing God's creations. I love to simply, enjoy life.

Why I am a Mormon

I've always lived in a culture that has many members that belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Although I live in this culture, I've chosen to do my best at applying the principles of the gospel I've learned in church and on my own personal study. The Holy Ghost has testified to me the truth of this gospel with a burning of goodness in my chest. I've had many trials in my life, through which I've come to know our Savior, Jesus Christ. There have been times where I felt I was in the darkest night. From choosing to repent-- change for the better-- through accessing the atonement of Christ, those moments of darkness have turned to brightest days. From living this gospel, I've felt joy. I want you to feel that joy too. This gospel is true.

How I live my faith

Before my last year in high school, I chose to center my life around Christ-like love. To be genuine with my classmates, teachers and people I came in contact with. At first it took a lot to have a little courage to love people I barely knew, or to be enthusiastic and energetic with them; genuinely enjoying my time happily with them. The more and more I strived to be like Christ, the greater my life changed. It was one of the hardest years of my life, yet because I was striving to be like Christ and love the way he loved, though it was hard it was one of happiest years of my life. I would recommend to everyone, to center their lives around Christ and his perfect love. Striving to be like Christ will change your life for the better.
