Hi I'm Russell

I live on cattle ranch in North Eastern California. I am a livestock producer, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I wake up everyday and put my boots on. My office is the ranch and I enjoy the outdoors everyday. I grew up riding horses and working cattle. I grow crops and grass to feed the livestock and believe in taking care of the land for future generations. I received an associates degree online and hope to obtain a bachelors degree in ag-business. I am a step dad, grand dad and husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon church and relied on my parent testimonies. When I turned 19 I took a leap of faith and served a mission for the church. It was through this experience that I gain my own testimony. As I strive to follow the teaching of Christ my testimony grows and I enjoy the blessing of the gospel. I receive inter strength and happiness and grow from my trials in life as I live the gospel.

How I live my faith

I am on the board of our local cattlemen's association where we promote the cattle industry to help the public understand the health and safety of the food we raise. In our church I serve as a branch president. This calling is to help lead the branch spiritually. Our church is a lay ministry which gives all members an opportunity to serve. A couple service projects that we do every year are a food drive and work in the church pear farm that serves the needy through out the world.
