Hi I'm Katrina

I grew up in the rocky mountains of Montana and Utah. I am an artist that loves to read. I am a Mormon and I love it!

About Me

I have spent the last year working as a librarian and helping to move a history museum. It has been a wonderful experience! It has tied into one of my greatest loves, reading. I am currently leaving to serve a mission for the church and I am very excited. My other hobbies are climbing trees with my nieces and nephews, hiking, art, crafts, writing and my puppy Cooper. I also get to spend quality time with Santa every Christmas as his personal elf. He is my dad and it's an awesome experience bringing joy to children. I'm not the only elf in this family. I get to share this job with my 5 other siblings. However I'm the youngest and the best!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up my whole life in this church. I may not have always followed it's teachings one hundred percent. However I have always come back to it. Because I know that it is the true church here upon the earth. It has blessed my life in many ways and I don't know where I would be now without it. I know that everything that it teaches us is true! I know that God's plan truly is the plan of happiness. That Thomas S. Monson is the Lords prophet here upon the earth. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and that with his atonement we can all be forgive and live with him again. I am so grateful for the church in my life! I love the Book of Mormon, the stories that it tells are TRUE! They are wonderful. It is the truest book upon the earth today. It's is another testament of Jesus Christ. I hope that you will find out for yourself.

How I live my faith

My most recent church calling has been working with the 6-7 year old children. It has been wonderful! I love teaching them on Sundays they have such a great desire to learn about our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They really enjoy singing songs and giggling. However they always seem to learn something from the lesson, even with the giggles. I've also enjoyed working with the young women and the summer camp program. I was able to use my arts and craft skills to teach them some new things. It was quite an adventure for all of us but we had a really good time.
