Hi I'm Adam

I'm about to serve a mission in Brazil. I love to swim, sing, and dance!

About Me

I am the youngest in a family of five. I have three older sister, and I also have an older brother who was still born. I swam all four years in high school, and have also sang in every grade that had choir as an option. I play an Irish drum called a Bodhran. I love anything outdoors, if I am camping, I will feel peace. When it comes to education, I love history, particularly anything Ancient Greek or Roman. My deepest love outside if this gospel is for the Native American people. I have spent my entire life striving to learn about the people, the languages, and the traditions. I truly feel a deep connection to these marvellous people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I KNOW that it's teachings are true. There was a time in my life where I felt that the only testimony I ha was the one that I had heard my parents share. I felt that since I didn't have my own I was sort of in a "limbo" state religiously speaking. Then one day in my meteorology class, a teacher was trying to disprove the miracles believed in by the Mormon church. Suddenly without realising it, I found myself defending the churches beliefs out loud. I was asking things such as "well, what about this," or "how do you explain that?" You could tell that he was a little taken aback by my questioning, but still he persisted in trying to explain them away. Then I asked him, "Even though the science behind it can be explained, WHY does that make it any less of a miracle?" And that is how I came to realise that I DID have my own teatimony!

How I live my faith

I have just been recently called to serve a mission in the Brasilia Brazil mission. Before that, I served as the 1st assistant in the priest quorum, and I am also a home teacher. Along with that, I serve on my Stake Youth Council, as well as the Seminary Council at my school.
