Hi I'm Taja

I was born and raised in Utah. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to college as an art major. I like to cook and play lacrosse. I love my family and I love to travel.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up I lived mostly with my mom who was inactive. My dad went to church but I only got to see him every other weekend. My mother always supported us in going to church. I think that really helped me keep going even when I was on my own. My family has been such a big influence in my life. I don't think I would be where I am at without them. being on my own I did realize that this gospel makes me happy. The commandments that the Lord gives us is not to punish or to restrict us. It is to make us happy, and to give us our freedom and agency. There is an overwhelming joy to know that there is a father in Heaven that love each and everyone of us. And a brother that was will to bear each of our sins and die for us so that we can live with our father in Heaven again. We would not know joy without misery, nor our Lord without this gospel. This gospel changes my life everyday. It can change the world if it will let it. I say this in the name of our brother, savior, and redeemer. Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

Growing up in the church was such a blessing in my life. Have a ward like mine made it feel like I had another family. Going to college and attending a singles ward made homesickness so much easer. I was called as the ward choir director. I got to help other develop their talent while making close friends.
