Hi I'm J

I'm from Roy Utah, I was baptized on December 10th 2011 at the age of 19. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I went to Snow College in Utah, I am studying engineering. I've been called to the Antananarivo Madagascar mission, I leave May 28th. I will go to Utah State University when I get back. In high school I played 6 different sports including football and tennis, I was also on a bowling club. I snowboard, longboard, and wakeboard. I can play the guitar, ukulele, and banjo.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized at 19. Growing up in Utah there was a lot of good examples in my life, however there was a lot of bad examples in my life too. The reason I got baptized is because of the difference I saw in the lives of those who followed Jesus Christ and where active in the church, and those who didn't. For myself I realized the feelings I felt during missionary discussions, talks about the church, and in sacrament meetings was the spirt and it was slow and not as strong at first, but I've had times in the temple and during talks about the church where the spirit was so strong and something so different from other feelings I've had that it's hard for me to deny it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures, following the commandments, and attending church. I have served as a FHE coordinator, meaning I planned events where everyone in my singles ward would gather for a spiritual thought and food on monday's night. I really enjoyed home teaching.
