Hi I'm Abby Larsen

I am from Layton, Utah. I've been called to serve in the Florida Tampa Mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from Northridge high school and I'm currently a student at Weber State University. I love running, hiking, playing the piano, and spending time with people I love. I have been so blessed with family and friends who have been amazing examples in my life, they mean the world to me! I have been called to the Florida Tampa mission and I couldn't be more excited! I cannot wait for the experiences that I'll have there and the amazing people I will meet. I leave August 6th.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who have amazing testimonies of the gospel. There came a time though that I realized that I couldn't survive on their faith; I had to gain a testimony of my own. I did this by reading the scriptures daily, praying, and striving to really understand the gospel. Prayer has strengthened my testimony so much. I know that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us and not only hears our prayers but wants us to pray to Him. He loves us more than we can even comprehend. Learning about the Atonement has also helped my testimony grow. Knowing that someone as perfect as Jesus Christ would die for me so that I can make it back to Heavenly Father amazes me. I can't even begin to put to words how grateful I am for this Gospel. It has brought hope, purpose, peace, and happiness to my life. I don't know where I would be without it.

How I live my faith

I have been taking institute classes up at Weber State in Ogden and I have absolutely LOVED it. These classes have strengthened my testimony so much. I also attend church on Sunday's, which includes partaking of the sacrament each week. The sacrament requires us to take on the name of Christ and always remember Him. This puts the way I live into a whole new perspective as I strive each week to be more Christ-like in all that I do.
