Hi I'm Ashley Kuchar

I study psychology. I play basketball. I love to bake and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated with a bachelors degree in psychology and am currently serving in the Poland, Warsaw mission. I hope to further my education, after the mission, with a PhD in Social/ Sport Psychology. Eventually leading to a career as a college professor. During my time as an undergraduate I played basketball for my school. Baking, walking dogs, hiking, reading, sports, doing puzzles, and deep conversations are some of my favorite things to do.

Why I am a Mormon

Life can be hard. Life can also be great. In my experience, I have found that living the principles of the Gospel help me feel the latter statement, even in times of struggle and confusion. I know that I have a loving Heavenly Father who knows me personally and takes care of me wherever I go. He can do the same for you, if you search for it, and work diligently to strengthen your relationship with him. God is love and He wants us all to feel it.

How I live my faith

I have grown up in the Church and have always tried to live a clean life. However, it wasn't until I went to college in a liberal town where Mormons were not common, that I truly understood what the Gospel of Jesus Christ was. It was there, that I not only realized the magnificent blessings of living the Gospel like happiness, purity, and comfort, but I also learned what living the Gospel means. To me, it is all about love and charity. In college, I was been blessed with numerous opportunities for community involvement. As a member of the basketball team, at a small school, I was able to reach out and talk to many about my faith. I have come to learn that when you follow Christ, His light will shine from you, and others will want to learn more. Living the faith means serving God and others with charity and love. I am so excited about my most recent opportunity to serve the Lord through full-time missionary service in Poland.
