Hi I'm Tanner

I grew up playing sports. I am a identical twin with my brother Tyler. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The first thing that you will learn about me is that I am a missionary in Fort Worth Texas. I love serving a mission and being happy. Serving a mission has helped me to think outside myself and think of others first. I grew up playing sports, so sports have really molded me to strive to do my best in everything I do and to work hard. The main sports I did are football, wrestling, track, and soccer. I love the out doors and doing crazy things. I love boating, rock climbing, horseback riding, and snowboarding. I love my family! I come from a famliy of 7 kids total with 4 girls and 3 boys so it's a fun house especially Sundays when we are all trying to get ready at the same time. I am an identical twin, my brother's name is Tyler, and I can say that he is the guy who knows me the best and is my closest friend. He's basically a stud- muffin. I feel like being a twin has helped me to be the person I am. He has helped me push myself and be a better Tanner Judy that I feel like I would've been.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because as I have served my mission in Texas, i have seen that many churches have pieces and fragments of the true gospel. Many churches have similar pieces of the gospel, some have different pieces than others, and some have made-up pieces. I am a Mormon because through my testimony of the Book of Mormon and of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ Through the prophet Joseph Smith, I know of a surety that the true gospel of the Father and of the Son is found in this church. The 'Mormon' church. And the authority that God has given to man to perform the ordinances of salvation has been given to us again mercifully, and it is found in this church. The only decision to make, is whether or not you want to Live the gospel.

How I live my faith

Currently I live my faith by getting in a white shirt and tie and telling everyone about Jesus Christ every day. Being a missionary has been the greatest blessing in my life for sure. I cannot fully describe the blessings that serving a mission has done for me. Some of the blessings I have felt however have been when those we teach can feel the spirit and Understand the truth of the gospel principles. When I was at home, I would say I lived my faith by being the best example I could be to my nonmember athletic friends realizing that they are watching to see how Mormons behave and react to certain situations. The pressure was felt of course, especially when my other Mormon friends would stoop on various standards, but I am grateful for the fortitude that was built in my own heart.
