Hi I'm Allyssa

I am from Honeyville, Utah. I was adopted by my aunt and uncle when I was 18. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old. I am going to serve a mission in the Richmond Virginia Spanish speaking area on January 27th. I am majoring in Marriage and Family Relations at Utah State. I am studying to be a Marriage Councilor. I want to do humanitarian work and travel all over the world and offer up my services. I have worked as a clinical assistant for an Orthodontist for almost 3 years now. I love to sing! I have developed my voice in just the past 3 years. I was always to shy to actually try but now that I have grown up I am more comfortable with sharing my talent with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up with my family torn apart and lived with my aunt and uncle who were the only ones in our family that were already part of this gospel and I know that that was the best thing to ever happen to me. I was able to be adopted by my aunt and uncle and was adopted shortly after. I have found eternal happiness, laughter, hope, confidence, maturity, love, and knowledge from growing up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I have been able to overcome more than I could have without reaching out to the comfort of the forgiving Father above. I have had many opportunities opened up in my life because of my faith. I know that without the gospel I would be so lost.

How I live my faith

I have always loved going to activities and spending time with the life long friends that I have made through church. I have been supported with every choice that I make with the wonderful people that I have long lasting relationships with. I have served in many callings and look forward to serving my Heavenly Father in any other way. I am the example to my family because most of them are not LDS. I try to make all my decisions reflect my faith in Heavenly Father.
