Hi I'm Julie

I'm a student at BYU. I grew up in Northern Virginia, and I am called to serve in the Belgium/Netherlands mission.

About Me

I love sports and music. I have played on a rugby team for 7 years and I often go wakeboarding and snowboarding with my family. I have played the piano for around 14 years and I have taught it for 5 years. I travel with my family a lot and have been to many countries around the world, including Thailand, Japan, Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, and Romania. I am studying mechanical engineering at Brigham Young University, and I am called to serve in the Belgium/Netherlands mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My family belongs to this church, but that is not necessarily why I am a member. I am a member of His church because I have gained a testimony of this Gospel. I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed about it. I know that it is a true testament of Jesus Christ. I know that the prophet Joseph Smith restored Christ's church on the Earth and that our modern prophet is called of God. I know that God has a plan for me personally and that I do not need to fear what is to come in this life or after it. God loves me and all of His other children. I am so grateful to have this knowledge and my faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through loving others. I know that God loves all of His children an incredible amount, and I want His children to feel that love. I try to share God's love by serving others, spending time with them, and being a friend and a support at all times.
