Hi I'm Jenica Chisholm

I love wake boarding. I have ran a half marathon. I love to smile. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my favorite things to do are run, play the guitar, ukulele and piano, sing, wakeboard, swim and be with the people I love most. I recently finished my first year of college. It was a great experience and taught me many wonderful lessons. I love life and I am grateful to be alive each day. I have my call to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will be serving in the Michigan Lansing mission and I report on August 27 to the MTC. I am so excited to serve the people there for 18 months!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel brings me happiness. I know that one day I will live with my Savior Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father again. I will also be reunited with family both past and present for forever. I know that a young man named Joseph Smith had a question of which church to join and when he asked in prayer which was true he was told none. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. I know that today we have a prophet Thomas S. Monson and they he leads and guides our church today. I am a Mormon because this gospel is incredible. It makes me want to be a better person and strive each day to help others come to know that we can be happy. We come from a loving Heavenly Father, we are here to be tested and to be tried and through our efforts, faith and hope we will return to live with him again.

How I live my faith

Over the past semester of college I was able to serve on the institute council of my college. A place where we are able to escape the pressures of the world and come together as saints to learn about Christ. I had a calling over enrollment. It was an incredible experience for me to see how many people wanted to know about this gospel and how many people wanted to be in the building even if only for a short time. There were many experiences that taught me how to be an example and how that people are always watching. We never know what kind of influence we have on others. Simple acts of kindness go a very long way.
