Hi I'm Elder McClure

I am from Idaho Falls, Idaho. I am serving a mission in Georgia. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Some of my interests are cooking, camping, and hanging out with my friends. I am serving a mission for 2 years, in Georgia. I am the youngest of 5.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this gospel, and am so happy to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days saints. I know that this gospel is true, I know that the prophet Joseph Smith truly was a prophet of God, and that he really did see God the Father, and his son Jesus Christ. I also believe that he translated the Book of Mormon, and that book it true, I love reading it. I believe that the atonement is real, and that Christ lives. I am very thankful for the gospel in my life. I know that God still does have prophets upon the earth, that lead and guide us in the latter days. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God as well. I love being a member of this Church, I'm a Mormon, and know that this gospel is true. As I prepare to serve my mission, I am excited to teach those what I know to be true, and show them the true joy that comes from living a living a Christ centered life. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I am leaving all that I know behind to go and teach his gospel for 2 years of my life. I am excited to share with the people of Georgia, what I know to be true. I live my faith my being involved in his gospel by studying scriptures, prayer, family history work, and by serving a mission.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Elder McClure
Families are so important to Mormons, because we believe that if we live righteously, obey the commandments, and try the best we can we can return to live with our father in heaven and Jesus Christ with our families forever. The family setting, is where we can teach, learn, and grow from each-other. The family is the central part of Gods Plan of Salvation. (See " The Family" A prolongation to the world") Family ties bring us through difficult challenges, and trials in our life, such as giving us strength and happiness. We also believe that the family was ordained of God, and through this we are happy, and that is all God wants for his children. Show more Show less
