Hi I'm Cris

I love cameras and TV Production. I play the piano and organ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a missionary preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ! I love to play the piano and organ, and my passion is film and cinematography. My dream is to become a news producer, and sometimes I can't even watch TV without analyzing every camera shot and angle! I am of Spanish descent (gypsy, my dad says), and am learning to speak Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ brings me hope. I know that no matter what I've done, He can help me repent and become clean again. Many people wonder where we came from, why we're here, and where we're going. This church has the answers to those questions. You don't have to take our word for it, though. I know that if you pray and ask, the truth will be confirmed to you by the Holy Spirit. You can gain your own testimony that way. As I heard at a conference once, "A testimony is like a toothbrush: you can use your parent's, but it's nice to have your own!" I know that if we work to grow our testimony, by seeking out the truth in this world, we can find greater happiness in life. The first step to that is believing in Jesus Christ!

How I live my faith

A Sunday does not go by that I'm not at church! Learning about and trying to be more like Jesus Christ is at the center of my life. I love music and I was called to play the organ for my congregation. Before, I only used to play the piano, but I learned from a generous sister who trained me how to play with my hands and feet--at the same time! I also work with a group that plans large-scale youth activities (service projects, dances, etc). Not only have I been able to serve the church and the youth program, but I've learned some invaluable leadership skills too.
