Hi I'm Paul Summers

I'm a Mormon, I have been all my life. I am a farm boy from Idaho and now a civil engineer in Utah. Grateful to be a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a farm outside of Rexburg, Idaho. Graduated from High School at Madison High School. Left Rexburg and moved to Salt Lake City. Ut. Worked at the Utah Highway Department for 12 years, during that time went to college and obtained a BS degree in Civil Engineering. Marrried Helen Pehrson in 1964. She was not a member of the church but was baptised in 1968 after our first child was born. We now have 4 children and 17 grandchildren.

Why I am a Mormon

I have found that the church and my testimony of the gospel and of my Savior Jesus Christ make life very meaningful. I find the statement "when you in the service of your fellowman you are only in the service of your God." gives direction to my life. To be a Follower of the the Savior is my greatest hope.

How I live my faith

I have served in many positions in the church, including teacher, president of the Elders quorum, High Priest Group leader and am currently the Bishop of the Woodland Hills ward in Bountiful. I love this calling. My family are all very close and we are a close knit family who love each other and work hard to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. My greatest joy in the church is helping those who have strayed to come back and embrace the gospel in their lives.
