Hi I'm Rosemary Hansen

I am a wife and mother. I dream of traveling the world to see art and experience culture. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a college student, studying Art History and the Humanities. I love blogging, painting, reading, and collecting happy memories. I am married and and my husband and I have a darling baby girl. We also have a sweet miniature poodle. I am the youngest child of 6, by 6 years. I have struggled with anxiety and depression for a large portion of my life, but I think it has helped shape me into the woman that I am today (even though I still experience it).

Why I am a Mormon

I have never felt so much peace and joy than what I have experienced being an active member of the church. When I was younger I wasn't very dedicated to living the gospel and now that I have made it a priority in my life, I have felt much more gratitude and happiness- I can see a distinct difference comparing the two. I feel like living the standards that Christ has set for us has enabled me to be the best, freest, and fullest version of myself. I am also incredibly grateful for the understanding the gospel has offered me of my eternal identity and potential. I know that I am loved no matter what by my Father in Heaven and my Savior. I know that I have been placed in circumstances that will help me become closer to the Lord. I couldn't imagine life without revelation and the guidance that I can receive from heaven through prayer, scripture study, priesthood blessings and temple attendance. Because of revelation we have temple ordinances that enable me to walk back to the presence of the Father and that allow by family and I to be sealed together FOREVER. It is all just so incredible!

How I live my faith

I am on the Relief Society Activity Committee and a Visiting Teacher. On the Activities Committee, I help plan get togethers for the women in the ward as a committee member. I love learning about the women I serve and I enjoy helping everyone in attendance feel uplifted. As a visiting teacher I actively befriend sisters in the ward and visit them, help them, and love them. I have been so blessed by them!
